About AIIMS
Overview
AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) was historically India's most prestigious medical entrance exam. Since 2020, AIIMS no longer conducts a separate entrance — admissions to all 23 AIIMS institutions are through NEET UG.
AIIMS New Delhi remains the most sought-after medical college, with a cut-off typically in the top 50 NEET ranks.

- Phase 2-5: Mangalagiri, Nagpur, Gorakhpur, Kalyani, Bathinda, Deoghar, Bibinagar, Rajkot, Raebareli, Madurai, Guwahati, Bilaspur, Jammu, Darbhanga, Vijaypur, Awantipora
Each offers 100-125 MBBS seats per batch.
How to Get Into AIIMS
Preparation Tips
- Target 700+ in NEET: AIIMS New Delhi typically requires 710+. Newer AIIMS need 650+.
- Biology perfection: Aim 360/360. Achievable with thorough NCERT.
- Physics is the differentiator: 150+ in Physics separates top 100 from top 1000.
