JEE Main is India's national engineering entrance conducted by NTA. Gateway to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and qualifier for JEE Advanced (IITs). Over 12 lakh students appear. CBT mode, twice a year.

💡 Preparation Tips Preparation Tips
  1. Maths is key: Score 80+ to be competitive. Focus on Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Algebra.
  2. Numerical questions: No negative marking — attempt all 5 per subject.
  3. Both sessions: NTA considers better score. Appear in both Jan and April.
  4. Speed: 2-3 min per question. Use shortcuts.
  5. JEE Advanced qualifier: Top 2.5 lakh qualify. Aim 250+ for comfort.
